Today Baazar Kolkata is a very popular name amongst all customers who prefer fashion and style. The pioneer of this large chain of shopping stores is Mr. Manoj Khemka. With a modest beginning, he started his professional journey with a nominal salary — his ambition nurtured a dream to contribute to society by providing quality apparel at affordable prices.

In the year 2002, he embarked on this ambitious venture. His business prudence and vision was exemplary. Customers enjoy shopping in Baazar Kolkata and it has become synonymous with quality fashion garments at affordable price points.

After 20 years of this successful journey, Baazar Kolkata now has as many as 160 stores spread across West Bengal, Odisha, Jharkhand, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Assam, Tripura, Andhra Pradesh and Chhattisgarh. Today, 3500+ families are proudly associated with Baazar Kolkata. He has further planned to open 159 more stores within the next 3 years — a testament to his enduring vision.

Abhishek Khemka holds a graduate degree in Commerce from Calcutta University and is a first-generation entrepreneur with more than 15 years of quality experience in the 'value for money' garment retail industry. A passionate leader committed to consistency in performance, he has been instrumental in the expansion of the company.

In his role as Director & CEO, he plays a pivotal role in Strategic Planning, Restructuring Operations, Category Management, Retail Management, Corporate Administration, Public Relations and Resource Management. He also heads the HR, Retail & Finance Division along with handling daily business affairs.

Beyond his business career, Abhishek is actively engaged in charitable and social welfare events across the nation, and is well connected with reputed names in this field.

Rishav Goenka is a hardworking and dedicated leader who has been associated with the company for the last 15 years. With his dynamic leadership and cutting-edge business acumen, he has instilled new zeal and greater passion within the organisation.

In his executive role as Director, Rishav looks after the Company's Finance, Branding & Marketing, and the geographical expansion of the retail network. He also manages overseas sampling & purchasing and heads the Company's Real Estate division — ensuring a strong foundation for Baazar Kolkata's continued national growth.
